Greg Clevenger, Medicine Man Much Timber, began his Scouting career as a youth with Boy Scout Troop 110 out of Braymer, MO. He was tapped in 1977, and is an Eagle Scout. As an adult, he has served as an assistant district commissioner for the North Star District in Kansas City, MO, was the Scoutmaster of Troop 447 in N. Kansas City, MO for 10 years, and founded the White Shield Dance team on behalf of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and served as the Dance Director for the District for nine years. Greg has served as the Presiding Sachem, and now serves as the Presiding Medicine man. He is a member of the Pony Express Council Executive Board, and is the chairman of the Council Camping Committee.
A retired Certified Public Accountant, Greg operated a practice in Parkville, MO for 25 years. He is also a partner with a homebuilder; Greg and his partner purchase foreclosed homes, remodel and sell them. Greg’s recent retirement has allowed him to return home to his true passion of working on the farm with his family. Married with two children, one of whom, Jeremy, is a Sachem in the Tribe, Greg credits his wife and daughter with providing an enormous amount of support, which allows him to participate so much in Scouting.
